Is it true if you trim your eyebrows for many years they grow crooked? - i hate my thick eyebrows!

I was trimming eyebrows since the age of 18 years, and now I'm 20 I do it becaue I have thick eyebrows, and I have trichotillomania, which they remove them when you are stressed, shorter and eyebrows, the less temptation there will be revoked for any reason. My mother has tried to frighten me, I think. She told me when I started 40 years ago with it, dark and twisted, so I cut them. Is this BS or I can keep the cup for the rest of my life without worry?
